SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
In what's becoming a familiar sight, people lined up outside retailers across the country Friday to get the newest version of the iPhone.
The new Apple smartphone is being billed as thinner, lighter, faster and with a bigger screen than the previous version.
Workers at the AT&T store on Dorset Street in South Burlington say it was an early morning for the most eager customers.
"They got here about four this morning. They had their chairs and their blankets, and the line was, you know, out the door and around the back of the store," said Todd Theel, who works at the AT&T store.
Theel says this new iPhone had more online pre-orders than any of its predecessors.
Analysts expect 10 million of the phones to be sold by Monday.
