POWNAL, Vt. -
Police in Pownal have arrested a man accused of beating another man with a baseball bat.
They say Joshua Camp, 32, of Bennington, broke into a woman's home on Stateline Drive just after midnight and hit her boyfriend multiple times with a bat.
Police say he then vandalized the victim's truck and fled the scene.
Police later arrested Camp. The Bennington man is being held without bail to face aggravated assault and other charges.
