A Vermont man who blew the whistle on his employer will get $220,000 for his good deed.
Federal prosecutors say Brent Boerger discovered his employer, Applied Research Associates, overbilled the government for work on a defense contract.
ARA has now agreed to pay $1.1 million to settle with the government. Boerger gets 20 percent of that.
