CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire's Youth Waterfowl Hunting Weekend is coming up.
Participants must be 15 or younger and must be accompanied by a licensed adult at least 18 years old. The adult may not hunt.
Participants do not need a hunting license or duck stamp for the hunting period this Saturday and Sunday.
Ed Robinson, waterfowl biologist for the Fish and Game Department, said the youth weekend gives kids a chance to hunt when it's still fairly warm and there are a good number of birds around.
