HARTFORD, Vt. -
Police in Hartford are investigating an apparent beating that happened Wednesday night.
Around 11:30 p.m., people at a bar on South Main Street in White River Junction noticed a man outside walking in a daze and called 911.
Police say the man had multiple injuries to his face.
Initial reports say the man, whose name hasn't been released, was jumped and beaten by several people near a railroad bridge that crosses the Connecticut River.
The man was taken to the hospital. No word on the extent of his injuries.
