Meeting on Brattleboro skate park Thursday night

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -

Brattleboro residents can weigh in Thursday night on a new skate park.

A $14,000 grant has been secured for the project at the Crowell Lot on Western Avenue, and donations have now raised about $92,000. The project is estimated to cost $300,000.

The Sept. 27 meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Gibson Aiken Center. The Brattleboro Reformer reports the first designs are expected by October 16.
