WALTHAM, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police are investigating a bullet that hit a house in Waltham.

Police said the door was damaged by what appeared to be a .45-caliber pistol round about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. Two people inside the house at the time were not hurt.

Police said they believe the bullet was a result of a missed shot during target practice. They have someone in custody facing a charge of reckless endangerment; a name has not been released.
