RUTLAND, Vt. -
Rutland turned out in force Thursday night to honor a student-athlete who was run down as she left her after-school job.
Police say a driver who was likely drunk and huffing chemicals started a chain-reaction crash Wednesday. The wreck left Carly Ferro, 17, dead. Three others were injured.
A vigil was held for Carly Ferro Thursday night at Rutland High School.
