This year marks the 100th year of Girl Scouts of America. And there is a celebration planned for the big milestone in Burlington.
Betsy Dempsey is a troop leader of the Williston Council. Her daughter, Katie, is a Girl Scout. They both appeared on The :30 to talk about the milestone and a celebration they are planning. Watch the video for more.
The event is at the ECHO Center in Burlington Oct. 14, 1-4 p.m. All past and present Girl Scouts are invited to reconnect and enjoy some great activities.
