NEWPORT, Vt. -
An Orleans man is behind bars for allegedly forcing a 14-year-old to help him commit burglaries which took place between Aug. 10 and 17.
36-year-old Daniel Greenwood is accused of threatening to cut off the boy's fingers if he didn't help and shooting him if he told anyone. The four break-ins took place in South Barton this past August. Greenwood pleaded not guilty to two counts of burglary and other charges. He also faces drug charges in Massachusetts. He is being held on 100-thousand dollars bail.
