Flu season begins in NH

CONCORD, N.H. -

It's officially flu season in New Hampshire. The state's Health Department lab has confirmed the first case.

The health department says its arrival is slightly earlier than usual and is advising everyone to get a flu shot now, as the immunization takes two weeks to take effect.

The state's doctor tells the Union Leader even if you got one last year, get this year's, as each flu season -- and flu shot -- is different.
