NEW HAVEN, Vt. -
A police chase Monday night through several Vermont towns ended with the suspect getting away.
Vermont State Police say a trooper tried to pull over a truck on Plank Road in New Haven just before midnight because it was driving without headlights and ran a stop sign.
The truck didn't stop and police chased it for 12 miles through Bristol, New Haven and Monkton, with Bristol Police and Vergennes Police joining the pursuit before it was called off.
