MONTPELIER, Vt. -
Vermont's foliage season is hitting peak conditions in some parts of the Green Mountains.
The Vt. Tourism Department says a number of spots are in full color-- especially in Northern Vermont. They recommend getting to the higher elevations for the best viewing.
The recent wet weather and cooler temperatures have helped move the season along. But there is still time to see the reds, oranges and yellows that drape the landscape.
