Program aims to make Vt. schools more engaging

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

High school can be an exciting time for many students. But for others, staying engaged in the classroom is hard. In many Vermont schools there is a program offered for students to find their voice and reform the way they look at education. The program is called "Youth and Adults Transforming Schools Together."

Helen Beattie is a facilitator of the program. Taylor Ducharme is a pervious student and leader of the program. They both appeared on The :30 to give us more insight into the program. Watch the video for more.
