Celebrating controversial literature

Posted: Updated:

In school you probably read Mark Twain's classic novels "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." Both are classics and both are among the most widely banned books in the country. This is Banned Books Week.

The banned book reading is Oct. 4 at Christ Episcopal Church at 64 State Street in Montpelier at 7 p.m. Click here for more information.
