Pedestrian hit by car in Burlington

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A crash sent a pedestrian to the hospital Tuesday night in Burlington.

It happened on Colchester Avenue near Centennial Field just after 7 p.m.

Police say a vehicle hit a 34-year-old Burlington man. The extent of his injuries was not released. Police say they know who the driver is and are still investigating.

No charges have been filed.
