Vt. police offer $5k reward in 2005 farm killing

SHELDON, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say they are still trying to solve the murder of a farm worker who was shot and killed on a dairy farm in Sheldon seven years ago.

Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the resolution of the case or the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.

Kenneth Jerome, 33, was shot on July 7, 2005, behind a barn at the Magnan farm.

Police say they continue to investigate the killing and are still getting leads in the case.
