HARTFORD, Vt. -
Police in Hartford say an undercover
sting stopped a pair of prolific graffiti artists.
Investigator say images were
spray-painted on cars in the White River rail yard and nearby underpasses.
Railroad officials say it costs $9,000 every time they have to refinish a
boxcar.
So, Hartford police went undercover
and caught two young men in the rail yard. Police say they had more than 90
spray paint cans in a backpack and a car parked nearby.
Police arrested Brian Dow, 23, and
Daniel Barmore, 24, both of Hartford, on felony unlawful mischief charges.
