New twist on Vt. treasurer's race

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The battle for Vt. treasurer is getting heated, with a new volley of emails back and forth between Democrat Beth Pearce and Republican Wendy Wilton.

Wilton says Pearce is not committed to Vermont because she rents and does not own a home in Vermont.

Pearce says Wilton is anti-middle class.
