Bluebird Barbecue Rib Recipe

Bluebird Tavern in Burlington has been in business since 2009. The restaurant has broadened their business with a coffee shop on Church Street, and most recently with Bluebird Barbecue.

Chef Paul Link is one of the chefs at Bluebird Barbecue. He appeared on The :30 to show us one of the many delicious entrees at the restaurant-- ribs! Watch the video for more.

Bluebird Barbecue Rib Recipe

  • Salt - ¼ C
  • Brown Sugar - ¼ C
  • Chili Powder - 2 Tbls
  • Black Pepper - 2 Tbls
  • Onions Powder - 1 Tbls
  • Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
  • Paprika - 1 Tbls
  • Cayenne - 2 tsp.
  • Ground Yellow Mustard - 1 Tbls
  • Dry Oregano - 1 Tbls

Apply rub and allow to sit for 12 hours

Smoke @ 225° until internal temperature reaches 195° or until the rib just starts to break when lifted. Approx. 3 - 4 hours
