Keeseville considers whether to dissolve

A committee is Keeseville is preparing its final report on whether the village should dissolve.

The village is considering eliminating itself as a separate municipality and transferring services to neighboring Ausable and Chesterfield.

The Plattsburgh Press-Republican reports there is one final meeting for the public to weigh in Oct. 17 at the Keeseville Fire House before the findings go to the village board.
