Taxpayers in Brattleboro will weigh in on a multimillion dollar project, proposing upgrades to the fire and police facilities.
The proposal includes the fire stations on Elliot Street and in West Brattleboro and the municipal building, currently home to the police department.
The Brattleboro Reformer reports voters are considering a $20 million bond, and 1 percent tax to cover the interest payments, which they say would bring the public's portion down to $14 million.
There will be a public meeting on this plan Oct. 17. The final vote is set for Oct. 20.
