Castleton will look to win its first ever Maple Sap Bucket in four tries on Saturday at Norwich. The Cadets have won the last three meetings between the two in-state rivals.
Norwich enters this game 0-1 in the ECFC and 3-1 overall. The Cadets are coming off a last second loss at Mount Ida last week in the conference opener. Castleton is 1-0 in the ECFC and 2-2 overall. The Spartans had an extra week to prepare for the Cadets.
Don't expect a defensive struggle. Castleton has the league's top passing attack and the defense has allowed almost 40 points a game this season. In their last three meetings, Norwich has averaged 46 points a game while the Spartans have averaged nearly 30 points a game.
