PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -

A woman who stole $1.4 million from her employer is headed to prison.

Julie Perry of Altona, N.Y., was sentenced Friday to 5-15 years, as called for in her guilty plea this summer.

Perry was the office manager at Garvey Hyundai in Plattsburgh. Prosecutors say she forged documents and falsified records to steal cash and cars, which she then sold for personal profit.

Along with the jail time, Perry is required to pay full restitution to Garvey Hyundai.
