Some Vermont residents were a bit shaken up early Wednesday morning when an earthquake struck north of the border.
It happened near Beloeil, Canada, which is about 20 miles from Montreal-- just before 12:30 a.m.
The U.S. Geological Survey earthquake monitoring system says it rated at a magnitude 3.9, while Natural Resources Canada gave it a preliminary magnitude of 4.5.
We have not heard any reports of damage in our area, but many of our viewers tell us they definitely felt it.
