Clarendon firefighters win $90K grant

Clarendon volunteer firefighters have landed a $90,000 grant to upgrade their decades-old rescue gear.

The Rutland Herald reports they are among the first in New England to receive the FEMA money.

It's being used to upgrade to more effective, lightweight air packs, face pieces and new voice amps to improve communication while battling the flames.
