Vt. man charged with choking teen over sandwich

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -

An Upper Valley man was charged Friday with choking a teenager over an egg salad sandwich.

Police say Harry Johnson, 62, got angry at a boy at a house in White River Junction when the teen would not give him his egg salad sandwich.

The teenager told police Johnson choked him until he almost threw up and couldn't breathe.

Johnson pleaded not guilty to aggravated domestic assault.
