Switchback brewery celebrated its ten-year anniversary at their factory today. The company also kicked off the launch of selling its beer in bottles. Fifteen-hundred tickets were sold to the public -- to enjoy factory tours, entertainment, food -- and of course beer. Swtichback employees describe the event as a chance to look back on the company's journey of success.
Bill Cherry of Switchback commented, "Vermonters are so ready to try out a craftsmen's work and to see whether they like it or not and they are so accepting of you that if you do a good job they are there for you to support you. And I don't think you get that everywhere. That's why you see in so many different avenues around Vermont all these small successful business. its truly just because of Vermonters themselves."
Employees say they anticipate the next decade will bring more support in Vermont and continued growth.
