T.C. global coffee company files for bankruptcy

MONTPELIER, Vt. -

A company that sold a $40 million portion of its coffee business to Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has field for bankruptcy.

The Times Argus reports T.C. Global, which is the parent company for Tully's Coffee Shops, recently announced it's Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The move doesn't affect the wholesale and online side of Tully's coffee, which are the parts Green Mountain Coffee acquired.

Tully's currently owes more than $346,000 to Green Mountain Coffee. It says it will continue to buy coffee for its retails stores from the Vermont company under their current agreements.
