FORT ANN, N.Y. -
The Route 4 rock slide still has drivers seeking an alternate road -- while geologists try to figure out the safest way to proceed.
The boulders came tumbling down on Monday, closing a five-mile stretch of road near Fort Ann and the Vermont border.
State Geologists are looking at data to see how much rock needs to be removed from the hill side to prevent another slide -- and how much needs to be removed to allow regular traffic to resume.
