SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Vermont Corrections officials now say Calbraith Macleod, a man they consider a high-risk sex offender, has registered in South Burlington.
He was released from prison, and at first officials did not know his whereabouts. Now the Rutland Herald reports Macleod has listed himself on the sex offender registry in South Burlington.
Because Macleod served his maximum sentence of 24 years for sexually assaulting his wife, he is NOT under supervision of the state, but is required to register as a sex offender.
