Rt. 30 bridge back open for traffic

HUBBARDTON, Vt. -

Route 30 is back open to traffic in Hubbardton after crews had to replace a pipe that went under the road.

The bridge was closed for nearly two weeks while contractors worked to remove and replace the culvert on the bridge at the intersection of Route 30 and Ganson Hill Road and is now open.

But work to replace another culvert under the Bridge at the intersection of Route 30 and Monument Hill Road is not expected to be complete until late November.

That will require closing the bridge for more than two weeks and re-routing drivers to detours.
