BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police in Vermont say an 86-year-old woman has died in a two-vehicle crash on a road in Bennington.
The crash happened about 11:20 a.m. Thursday.
Both vehicles ended up in a ditch. Police said the accident killed Ruth Cherbonneau of Arlington. The driver of the other vehicle, a pickup truck, suffered minor injuries.
Police told the Bennington Banner the cause of the crash is under investigation.
