WINOOSKI, Vt. -
Computers were traded for paper and pencils, as a group of aspiring artists worked on the beginnings of comic books. The 6th annual 24-Hour Comics Day brought about a dozen artists to the Winooski Welcome Center. They will create a 24-page comic book in that time, not for prizes, but for fun. Organizers say it's a good way for artists to let loose and get their creative juices flowing. The artists will wrap up their projects Sunday October 21 at 10 a.m.
