COLCHESTER, Vt. -
Repairs to the Colchester Causeway bike path are in motion.
Fundraising efforts have raked in $1.5 million to repair the path that was nearly washed away last spring because of that record-breaking flooding on Lake Champlain.
Local Motion reps say they plan to donate some of the money to the city of Burlington to ensure bike path repairs are complete by next spring.
And next year there will be a new bike ferry that can carry up to 20 cyclists. They plan on trying to run that as many as 80 days all depending on the weather.
