NH Moose season underway

The first weekend of New Hampshire's moose season was a success.

On this past Saturday and Sunday, a total of 69 moose were taken by hunters.  That is a 25-percent success rate. Which is about on par with last year.
 
New Hampshire's nine-day moose hunt continues through Sunday, October 28. This year, more than 13-thousand people entered the moose hunt lottery for a chance to win one of the 275 permits.
