Rutland cop under investigation also worked in Pittsford

RUTLAND, Vt. -

Last week WCAX-TV reported about a Rutland City Police officer suspended from the job.

Joseph Warfle is off duty while workman's compensation benefits are investigated. It turns out that Warfle is also the Police Chief in the Town of Pittsford. The town's website says Warfle has been with Pittsford Police since the mid 1990's and has been with the Rutland City Police since 1984. It's unclear if the investigation will affect Warfle's position in Pittsford.
