Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is contacting about 200 patients who received drugs from a Massachusetts company -- as a precaution.
The hospital says they gave patients drugs produced by the New England Compounding Center, which has been linked to a deadly meningitis outbreak that has killed more than 20 people and sickened hundreds more.
All drugs from that company have been recalled.
The drugs given at BMH were not the same steroid injections that have resulted in the deaths, and there have been NO confirmed reports that other drugs from the company caused infections.
But the hospital says it's just being cautious.
