RUTLAND, Vt. -
He's been convicted of second-degree murder for killing his friend in downtown Rutland, and now a judge says Jonathan Bruno will pay up.
Bruno is serving 35-years to life for stabbing John Baptie in a shopping plaza in 2007-- and now he is being ordered to pay the family more than one million dollars for damages in the wrongful death case.
The Rutland Herald reports this decision brings the family's case against Bruno to a close.
