Magic Hat sold -- again

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The Magic Hat Brewery in South Burlington will soon have new owners.

KPS Capital Partners says its selling Magic Hat's owner, North American Breweries, to Cerveceria Costa Rica for $388 million.  NAB, which bought Magic Hat back in 2010, is one of the largest independently owned beer companies in the United States.
   
Magic Hat was founded in Vermont in 1994.

    Vermont State Police have charged 22-year-old Adam Page of Newport for stealing the Newport City Elementary School bus, which has now been declared totaled. A stolen dog was also recovered in the bus
