Hurricane Sandy is already bringing Northeast transportation to a standstill.
Starting Sunday airlines began canceling thousands of flights out of their northeast hubs. And Starting Monday, Amtrak is canceling all train service across the Eastern Seaboard, including Vermont service. Amtrak officials say alternate transportation will not be offered.
