Retelling the wild tales of Vermont game wardens.
Author Megan Price is celebrating the release of her third book in her series, Vermont Wild. The books are collections of true stories that happened to veteran wardens during their time of service. Vermont Wild is only found in local Vermont book stores -- and offers a great opportunity to share the stories of -- who she calls-- great heroes in Vermont.
"There's all these things that really deserve our admiration. It's a dangerous job and at the same time we have fun with it because of the true adventures," said Price. "A cougar attack, getting run over by a moose -- I mean it's funny if you live through it, but they risk their neck and have a dangerous job."
