HARTFORD, Vt. -
It's not just us humans getting into the Halloween spirit -- dogs are too.
Dogs, dressed in costume, packed the Watson Upper Valley Dog Park in Hartford Sunday. The event is part of an annual fundraiser for the park. Volunteers raised $50,000 through grants and private donations to build it. But last year Tropical Storm Irene completely wiped it out.
"This would be our 5th, but since the dog park was closed all last year, this is our 4th annual Halloween event," said Patsy Schneider, the Dog Park Co-Director. "It's just a fun thing to do with our dogs and get people together and do a little fundraising."
