WHITINGHAM, Vt. -
An underage drinking party in southern Vermont ended with multiple crashes.
A little after two Saturday morning, police began investigating an assault at a party in Whitingham after a fight that ended when a driver used a minivan to hit two people before taking off.
Police are looking for the white or silver van and say they think the driver is from Brattleboro.
After that, police say three other drivers crashed their cars.
One of them, at Exit 3 in Brattleboro, was 17-year-old Michael Locascio of Jacksonville, who police say had been at the Whitingham party.
They say Locascio had been drinking and three of the seven passengers in his car had to be taken to the hospital. None were wearing seatbelts.
