Former Springfield lawmaker dies

A former lawmaker and CEO from Springfield has passed away.

Chester Scott was a Republican who served in the Vermont House and the Senate. As a lawmaker, he fought for hydro-power, small business and conservation issues. Scott was also CEO of Bryant Grinder. He passed away Saturday at the age of 81.
