Vt. voter registration deadline 5 p.m.

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Wednesday is the last day to register to vote in Vermont.

To get on the checklist for next Tuesday's general election, you must apply at your town or city clerk's office by 5 p.m. Monday afternoon.

For those who wish to cast their votes early or by absentee ballot, that can be done until 5 p.m. Monday.
