Vt. Air Guard members headed to Afghanistan

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Thirty members of the Vermont Air Guard are heading to Afghanistan.

They leave Saturday, but the Guard won't say where the airmen are going or how long they'll be gone. Their mission is to provide support for the launch and recovery of coalition aircraft and to work on maintenance and repair.
