Amtrak service still canceled for our region

ST. ALBANS, Vt. -

Amtrak service in our area is cancelled for a third day as crews work to repair damages brought on by Hurricane Sandy.

The Ethan Allen Express to and from Albany will not be running because of track damage south of Albany. The Vermonter service which runs from St. Albans to Washington DC is also cancelled today.

Amtrak says they hope to restore some service to and from New York City on Friday.
