Rabid skunk found in Keeseville

Heath officials in northern New York are advising residents to be cautious around wild animals after a second skunk has tested positive for rabies.

Health officials say the animal was in Keeseville. Another skunk and a raccoon have already been found in Clinton County, making that three wild animals testing positive there in the last few weeks.

The Plattsburgh Press-Republican reports several other animals have been found in Essex County as well.
