BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Former Vermont governor and presidential candidate Howard Dean says next week's presidential election is too close to call.
Dean also says it's still unclear what impact Sandy might have on the election, but he thinks the storm may help President Obama's chances because it emphasizes his role as commander-in-chief.
But the former DNC Chair says the storm may have hurt early voting in the crucial battleground state of Virginia, where they were blasted by the superstorm.
Democrats have been hoping for an edge among those who cast their ballots before Election Day.
